Eighteen barangays from the municipality of Nagcarlan, Laguna have formally submitted their respective Barangay Integrated Development Plans (BIDP) to the BIDANI Network Program-UPLB on April-May 2018.
The barangay secretaries of Barangays Banilad, Maiit, Palayan, Sabang, Sulsuguin, Yukos, at Alumbrado were the first to submit their BIDPs on April 11, while Barangays Calumpang, Cabuyew, Labangan, Lagulo, Nagcalbang, Sta. Lucia, at Silangan Kabubuhayan turned over their BIDPs the next day, April 12.
On May 3, Barangays Sibulan, Wakat, at Banca-Banca submitted their BIDPs. Then on May 4, the Sangguniang Barangay of Barangay Talahib was in full force in submitting their BIDP to UPLB BIDANI.
The Barangay Integrated Development Plan is an expanded version of the Barangay Development Plan (BDP), a document that barangays are required to craft in accordance to Republic Act 7160, or the Local Government Code of 1991. The crafting of the BIDP is part of the Barangay Integrated Development Approach (BIDA) component of BIDANI.

The visits of barangay secretaries to submit their BIDPs were an opportune time for the BIDANI program leader and staff to know the current situation of the implementation of the BIDANI strategy, particularly in terms of the integrated development component.
